Computer Running Slow or Crashing?

So your laptop or PC is running slow. This is one of the most common reasons our IT experts get a call. It can be frustrating when your computer slows down or freezes and you can't seem to pin the problem down.

There are many things that can cause your computer to get a bit slow or stop running all together. Some of the most common symptoms are:

• Software errors caused by a bug or incompatibility.
• A hardware fault, for example with the hard drive, memory or cooling fan.
• Your computer may be infected with spyware or a virus
• Too many programs running at once and your computer doesn’t have enough memory to cope.

• We use a disk clean up utility to remove temporary files and junk from your system.
• We can defragment and optimise the space used on your hard drive to align all system files.
